A Passion for Organizational Change Management

As a professional since 1996, I focus on organizational savvy, creating communication strategies and solutions for my clients that enable them to connect more effectively with their target audiences and grow their businesses.


In my role, I thrive on creative problem solving and come up with effective and innovative ideas for those I work with. In my most impactful role I was named General Manager of Specialty where I led a team of 50 employees driving incremental growth of $30 million in year-on-year revenue growth. The locations I led enjoyed average margins of 78% at 15 locations serving over 7000 dealers internationally.  Annual sale volumes in units sold topped 300k.

During the time I supervised Karen while she was the general manager of the start up Specialty business at Manheim I was very impressed with her approach as she grew the business. Karen is a great leader of people because she listens and clarifies as she goes. What we had asked her to do was expand into selling product that was outside our normal product offering. That required not only being a change agent but convincing others to accept and embrace the opportunity. That required patience and leading changes in thought and support in areas of doubt.

She did a great job championing the new startup both within the Manheim organization and developing the brand within the overall industry (that is still used today!).

As Manheim’s core auction business went Digital, Karen adapted and employed innovative marketing and communication techniques to move customers onto new e-commerce platforms and never-been-done-before ways of doing business. Given the stubborn nature of auto dealers, this was an amazing feat made possible only through the vision, passion, personality and skill that made her a powerful agent of business change.


For her next act, she grew the business while better serving our customers by leading the successful branding and establishment of Specialty Vehicles and Highline sales, overlooked but very important subsets of our inventory and customer base. She had the vision to successfully build these brands as ‘businesses within the brand’ , providing an insightful solution to a market that’s still operating on the foundation she built.
